Yes I’m a little late but I just had to share some pictures of my creations because I worked so hard and they were gobbled down in an instant! I spent Canada Day working, unfortunately and I was also just plained pooped after work, so I didn’t even get a chance to see fireworks. The next day I had a day off and decided to bake some cupcakes to at least partially celebrate my native country’s birthday and to bring them to the place where I volunteer with war veterans. They were all so delighted! Just walking in I got a few stolen off of the huge platter. I spent a long time baking and decorating and arranging them so I got my brother – who’s also a talented photographer to snap some shots of my tasty creations. I also must point out that I painstakingly cut out all those mini flags; which wouldn’t of been so bad if I had had a proper pair of scissors. Instead I misplaced the good scissors and had to use a rusty pair of miniscule scissors which my fingers barely even fit through – and my fingers are pretty mini. I’m whining but I had a ton of fun making them and I had a ton of fun sharing them :)

Je suis Canadienne. And I'm a student majoring in History & English Lit. I work part-time with books. I love reading, but in the last few years, school ate up my life so I wasn't reading as much. This blog is the start to a whole new chapter in my reading life.
